This method proved to be very effective for losing weight. There are many diet plans and healthy foods for fast weight loss, but we often overlook the spices.


Scientists from the Medical Science University of Iran conducted a study which included 88 women separated into 2 groups.

They were asked to have a healthy diet and consume no more than 500 calories a day, for a period of three months.

The difference between the two groups was the use of spices. One group consumed 140 grams of yogurt mixed with 3 grams of cumin every morning. The other group also had the same amount of yogurt but without the cumin.

Results

When the study was finished, the results showed that the group that consumed yogurt with cumin, on average lost 14 pounds more than the other group. They also lost 14.64% of body fat while the group that didn’t consumed cumin only lost 4.91%.

Conclusion

The consumption of cumin provided amazing results due to the high filosterole content. This compound has the ability to stop cholesterol retention in our body. It also boosts the metabolism which leads to faster weight loss.
